About the author
The author is a citizen of Ukraine who graduated from the History Department of Dnipropetrovsk State University. He has devoted more than 30 years of his life to ethnic and religious history of the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. He also worked in all three of the above-mentioned regions. Among other things, he worked as a consultant to a foreign policy agency of a Central Asian republic for an extended period.
Due to the nature of his main occupation, the author has no right to disclose his personal information. There is only one thing that can be mentioned here: the author does not belong to any of the peoples of the South Caucasus. However, he lived in the Caucasus for almost seven years. He independently conducted and supervised field research in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Dagestan.

Kuzari is a pseudonym derived from a major center of Muslim culture in the 11th–12th centuries. Experts will recognize the hint to the author’s origins.
